Electric vehicles – EV – Estonia leading worldwide

abb-logoFull speed ahead for electric cars: claiming to be the world’s first country, Estonia has now a nationwide network of 165 fast-charging stations for electric vehicles.  The charging stations are available in all towns with more than 5,000 inhabitants, and on the main roads at a distance of 60 kilometers. The car could be charged  in less than 30 minutes up to 90 percent, according to ABB, the project company, a global leader in power and automation technologies, orginally based in Switzerland, and operating in about 100 countries.
