Winter Festival in Tallinn – one week full of concerts in the Estonian capital
For the 5th time already the Winter Festival takes place in Talliin. Renowned young talents will show their skills between 20 and 28 February 2012 in five concerts.

The theme for this year is „Open your eyes, open your hearts. Artists will present different genres, instruments, and musical styles from Bach to Verdi. Like in the past years the income will be collected to purchase instruments in an effort to support the young musicians and singers.
Berlin Fashion Week 2012 took place from 18 January until 21 January.

Within the EU there are significant differences regarding usage of VoIP (telephoning over the internet). Hannover was selected because of its favourable location to one of the most important transit centers of Europe. In Tallinn, shortly before the holidays, “Gingerbread Mania” took over. With this theme («PiparkoogiMaania») pieces of art and design made from dough can be seen in the Estonian capital. More than 140 Estonian artists are showing the edible exhibits until the 8 of January 2012. Director Mari-Liis Laanemaa said, in total 400 kg dough had been processed skillfully. In Estonia, gingerbreads are baked traditionally before christmass at home and eaten with hot wine punch.
